A CASE FOR SATAN
A CASE FOR SATAN
It’s been said that history is written by the victors. Taking this into account, how can we be so sure Satan wasn’t actually a solid guy? Let’s look at the evidence.
Lucifer is Latin for “morning star”, or bringer of light. Lucifer himself was considered a beautiful angel, blameless and sinless. If this is true, then why did he get evicted from heaven? According to some modern churches, it is because he demanded equal rights.
"Satan is the bad guy"
First of all, I was the first to demand equal rights

Again, the victor writes history. Did God and his human minions write the first propagandic spin story to make Satan look like a bad guy? And was Satan himself the first to demand democracy from a vengeful God? What if the real reason for Satan’s debate with God was that he never agreed with the idea of hell in the first place?
“Sure, they’re imperfect. But you made em that way bro.” something Satan might have said.
“If you don’t like the way I do things here, then you can git out!” God’s angry retort, moments before Spartan kicking Lucifer in the chest.
This kick to the chest not only sent Lucifer tumbling down to Earth, it also pissed him off. Like any child rejected by his father, he rebelled. From this pain of rejection, his creative potential was born and flourished. In the years that followed, Satan invented both whiskey and rock n’ roll music.
Back to the original argument. The reason Lucifer bucked up to God in the first place was for equal treatment of all. It wasn’t about him, as he already occupied heaven and held office in God’s heavenly government. Satan was exceedingly liberal, and chose to burn with the deplorables rather than relaxing in celestial utopia with an out of touch ruling class.
I’m not an advocate for the devil, but I do believe there are two sides to every story, with the truth laying somewhere in the middle. Make up your own mind, and do as thou wilt. But don’t overlook your religious freedom. America is the land of equal opportunity, and there is nothing wrong with hailing Satan.
