BAD ASS ART – EVIL LETTERS CREW EDITION
Street art gets a bad rap, some even go as far as calling it vandalism. Here at Live it Bad Ass, we thoroughly disagree. Vandalism is putting eggs and a slice of bologna on a car hood in the blistering heat. The results cause damage for the sake of damage.
But hey, most people are idiots and wouldn’t know talent if it were a poisonous snake with its fangs sank deep into their fat asses. Plus, vandalism sounds cool.
Graffiti actually has a long and rich history, dating all the way back to ancient Egypt, Greece, and the Roman empire. And it continues to evolve. Everything from train cars, buses, walls, abandoned buildings, bridges, etc… Each and every urban eye sore has the potential for a makeover, if only the right artist spots it and has a vision.
Always been a big fan of wildstyle, which is almost synonymous with the genre itself. Crazy letters that intersect, overlap, and pretty much do whatever the artist wants them to. Most modern graffiti is created using paint markers or spray paint, and the results give life to otherwise decaying neighborhoods. So the next time you get stuck at a railroad crossing, take a moment to appreciate the hard work and beauty as it rolls by, and remember, those artists risked jail to make their vision a reality. Now of course, not all graffiti is unsanctioned. Tons of murals and other elaborate pieces of graffiti are done legally.
What follows is work from a family of warriors and demons who are not from this world. They make every letter count. Without further ado, this is the Bad Ass Art Evil Letters Crew Edition!
