PLAYING GRAND THEFT AUTO FOR REAL HAS CONSEQUENCES
Have you ever wondered in the midst of an insane Grand Theft Auto rampage what might happen if you tried it in real life? Instead of having to go through with it to find out, check out the story of Ryan Stone, the guy who played Grand Theft Auto for real.
During March of 2014, Stone lead police on a wild high speed chase that looked oddly like a Sunday drive on Grand Theft Auto. During the madness, he t-boned cars, drove at high speeds on the wrong side of the road, ran over a police officer, and threw helpless women out of their cars whenever he needed to switch rides. One of those woman had a child in the backseat when the car jacking occurred. This didn’t stop Stone, who continued driving like a maniac with the child still in the back. The raw video of the entire scene can be found below.
23:23 for a GTA style car jacking.
24:50 to see officers badly mistiming their spike strip throws.
48:27-48:45 for a wreck and awkward jazz hands.
49:10 for a wreck.
49:25-49:45 for a wreck and GTA style car jacking.
50:51 for the worst of the wrecks.
51:30 to see Stone eat shit.
51:42 to see an all time weak attempt at climbing a fence.
So the answer to the question of what happens when you play Grand Theft Auto for real, is that you receive 160 years in prison. While this may seem harsh, keep in mind that Stone will likely become eligible for parole at the ripe young age of 105.
