PUNCHABLE MAGA HAT KID STRIKES NATIVE WAR HERO WITH RACIST SMIRK
This headline is a prime example of the fake news media. Forget due process, and forget about any inkling of journalistic integrity. That’s long dead and gone, and the “MAGA Hat Kid” story is definitive proof.
Everyone is sick and tired of this story by now, but it illustrates perfectly the terminal state of the American press. At every level, this story was irresponsible, factually incorrect, and morally reprehensible. In the end, MAGA hat kid has proven himself more responsible and mature than nearly every adult in the mainstream media who covered the story.
The initial story was a 30 second clip of an elderly native american man banging a drum and chanting in the face of a kid wearing a MAGA hat. They were surrounded by other MAGA hat wearing kids who were having a good time and filming the spectacle. In other words, this was a non story from the beginning. There were no crimes committed, no violence, no hate speech. Just a 30 second clip of an awkward encounter.
Enter public mob mentality and the mainstream media. A white kid in a MAGA hat? And he was smirking? Hmm, let’s see what we can do. This one falls on the shoulders of the Politically Correct Police Department, whose feelings don’t care about your facts, and who search endlessly for micro aggressions to become hyper aggressively offended about. Take CNN’s Reza Aslan, who tweeted this without allowing the truth to interfere with his feelings.
Honest question. Have you ever seen a more punchable face than this kid’s? pic.twitter.com/jolQ7BZQPD

Or Howard Dean. You remember Howard right? The guy whose voice cracked like a prepubescent boy after he screamed “We’re going to Wrestlemania! Yeah!” and then was promptly destroyed in his 2004 presidential bid. That speech still brings tears to my eyes. It was that funny. Old Howard had this to say.

The real story, which emerged over the next couple days, was simpler. The kids were waiting to get on their bus to head back to Kentucky, and Nathan Phillips interjected himself into their group and played the American Indian Movement Song about six inches from MAGA hat kid’s face. The main similarity between the full video and the condensed version is that nothing actually happened. MAGA hat kid stood there in silence as the drum was beaten in his face, and Phillips did nothing further to escalate the situation. They both smiled for God’s sake.
Again, the story isn’t and never was news. It served as a nice little distraction from the government shutdown, and illustrated how low the bottom feeders of the fake news world will go to push their insane agendas. That’s about it.
