Real Life Rapunzel: Woman Trapped in Tower Lets Down Hair, Immediately Falls to Own Death
Real life Rapunzel’s tragic demise
Trapped atop a tower, a local woman phoned her boyfriend to help her find a way down. But all of the doors in the 40 foot tower were locked. The couple considered leaving her in place until the morning, when she could be let down, but decided against it because of the cold.
The woman, 27, had never cut her hair. They hatched a plan to use her incredibly long locks as a climbing rope. That way, he could bring a blanket and they could wait it out together.
What happened next was straight out of a comedic horror spoof movie.
As the boyfriend made his way up, the woman lost her footing.“Ahhhh!” she screamed and fell over the edge. Further complicating matters, the boyfriend was halfway up the tower when she toppled, causing his weight to pull her to the ground at faster than free fall speed. He described her collision with the Earth as a dull hard splat.
She practically exploded onto the pavement, like a thrown Tomato.
Police and paramedics rushed the scene, but were too late. The woman was dead the moment she hit the floor. Locals are calling the woman a real life Rapunzel, and are stunned at the violent event.
“Nothing interesting ever happens here.” states Evelyn Olden, 97. “Then this bitch gets stuck in a tower, suspends a 200 pound man from her flowing locks, and boom. We’re on the map.”
